Working across television, editorial and with top celebrities such as Emma Watson, Lily Cole and Laura Bailey – make-up artist Charlie Duffy is constantly up to date with the latest makeup trends. Charlie has kindly given us her top summer make-up tips to help you look great all summer long…

1) Mix a little moisturiser to your foundation to effectively give yourself a tinted moisturiser.

2) Keep eye make up to a minimum for Summer. Use a waterproof mascara and eyeliner to avoid smudging in the heat or alternatively tint your lashes and use a clear mascara on top.

3) A good bronzer in the right colour can double up as an eyeshadow, blusher and mixed with a little Vaseline even a lip gloss.

4) This Summer it’s all about the lips. Matt lipsticks in bright colours are all the rage! Reds, oranges and hot pinks. Pair them with a simple eye make up for full effect.

5) To avoid looking shiny in the sun apply a matifier rather than powder.It will take away the shine without the clogging effect of powder.

Make-up Artist and spokesperson for The Body Shop Chase Aston is here to offer us his latest tips on creating a beautiful molten look with The Body Shops latest collections…

1 – To create a molten metal look that works for both day and night, apply All-In-One BB Cream for a sheer, light reflecting complexion. Then take Shimmer Cubes 06-Chocolate Box, dip your fingertip into water and sweep over the darkest shade and pat onto the eyelid, take either of the two middle shades and apply to cheekbones, and using the lightest shade sweep over lips for a nude shimmer effect.

2 – For a glossy bronzed smoky eye, apply a clear lip balm over eyelids from the lash-line to brow bone. Then usingColour Crush Eye Shadow in Bronze Bliss, sweep a finger over the shadow and press firmly onto eyelid, pat to blend.

3 – To create a deep metallic lip, take Metallic Eye-Definer in Burnished Amber to line, define and fill in lips, followed by a slick of Honey Bronze Lip Gloss for a lustrous sheen.

4 – For molten metal cheeks, take Honey Bronze Bronzing Gel for the Face and mix with Radiance Highlighter, sweep along cheek bones, then lightly dust with Honey Bronze Brilliance Powder to set.
