Skin becomes dehydrated in the winter due to the weather and central heating. In order to combat this keep it hydrated with an extra nourishing moisturiser or add a few drops of face serum to your regular moisturiser.
Lips become chapped and sore due to the elements in Winter. To combat this keep them regularly plastered with a good lip balm (nothing with camphorin) as this has a drying effect.
Bodies tend to get neglected in the Winter. Keep all those areas that are on show in those Christmas party outfits (legs arms and backs) scrubbed and treated to a good dose of body oil. Apply after a bath when the skin is most porous paying particular attention to knees and elbows!
Make up should have more moisturising properties. Cream blushers will give a youthful glow, lips and eyes with a shimmer will lift tired skin.
Last but not least hands need extra care and attention over the winter months. Keeping plenty of rich hand cream by your bed is a sure way that you don’t forget even if it is last thing at night!
